26 Apr PFITechCare and Our Assembly Video Tutorials
During 2019 we have implemented the concept of PFITechCare, an umbrella for our “extra mile” in terms of servitization: we want to show our customers that we are not only experienced bearing producers, but also, very knowledgeable on the field and in the workshop, where bearings are being replaced all the time.
We are aware we cannot physically be by our end-users when they remove and install our bearings, so we are looking at other alternatives to ensure they know best practices for handling, replacing and installing PFI bearings.
Assembly video tutorials
We have started by preparing a series of assembly video tutorials with efficient demonstrations of the assembly procedures, step by step, including short written explanations and tips, as well as highlights about the appropriate assembly tools. We want all our customers to feel represented when they watch the tutorials and we plan on shooting them not only in high-end specialized repair shops, but also in common workshops, like the ones you can find in any part of the world. The setting is not important, being professional about the assembly is!
The concept of PFITechCare is multifaceted and it includes a series of other added value activities such as customized technical seminars and presentations, both for our customers’ sales force and for mechanics and end-users, updated technical and engineering product information, technical marketing support, updated maintenance and repair information, updated applications and cross-references information (via e-catalogue, product catalogues and brochures). In the same line of action, lately, we are gearing towards offering kits rather than just the bearing, in order to maximize customer experience and the cost-benefit ratio!
We will continue to implement many other ways of adding value by adding services so that when you buy a PFI bearing, you don’t only buy a bearing, you buy a solution for your problem.
